Dolce & Gabbana has released the perfect gift for the baby that has everything – perfume.

The Italian company is releasing a unisex newborn scent later this year, with a 50 millilitre bottle to sell for $40.

“That familiar smell associated with babies will only be accentuated by this fragrance,” designer Stefano Gabbana says.

“It will contain notes of citrus, melon and honey, all famously evocative of newborns, and will pamper every little boy and girl.”

While a baby perfume is a bit over the top, young mums tend to fall over themselves for quality lotions and creams, so perhaps you could create a line of premium body products for bubs.
