Turn on your iOS WiFi hotspot

This article first appeared on August 10th, 2012.   That means you can use your iPhone’s 3G connection through other devices, like a laptop, or iPad. All you need to do is turn it on.   To switch it on, go to the Settings app, and then choose “personal hotspot” at the top of the page. Then, all you need to do is turn that to “on”. Remember the password – or change it if you like – and then you’ll be all set.
