Get past the Windows 8 lock screen

The Windows 8 lock screen differs from previous versions of the software, in that it doesn’t actually provide you any clues of what to do.

But there’s an easy way to get around it if you forget.

All you need to do is tap the space bar, and then either spin the mouse wheel or slide upwards where you can enter your usual login details.
