Run apps side by side in Windows 8

If you’re using Windows 8 as your main software, then you should know you can make apps sit side by side.

To do so, just select an app, and then press the Windows key + the full-stop key. That will push the app to the right-hand side, while pressing them again will push it to the left.

If you put that app on the side of the screen, you can open another to fill the remaining space.
