Legacy music badgeLegacy badges traditionally come as pins to stick on your clothes, but now they’ve entered the digital age with new MP3 “buttons” or virtual badges.

 

Loaded with five songs by popular Australian musicians, the Legacy Songs Badge puts a new spin on the badges.

 

Aussie acts including Powderfinger, The Herd, Jimmy Barnes, Art vs. Science and Boy & Bear have donated songs, including I was only 19 by The Herd.

 

The badges, which cost $10 online, went on sale in late August in line with Legacy Week, which raises money for the families of deceased war veterans.

 

Tim Levinson, aka Urthboy from The Herd, said it was an honour to have a song included, stating: “We’re pleased to be able to contribute in even a small way.”

 

The Legacy badges indicate the concept of MP3-enabled items could be the next big thing with regard to the marketing efforts of organisations. Why not look into it?
