We like to think that entrepreneurs come in all shapes and sizes, and from all age brackets. The business owner straight out of university has the advantage of fresh ideas and the latest skills. The older entrepreneur has the benefit of experience and industry knowledge.

But serial entrepreneur Paul Wallbank says he's noticed a perception building that the "use-by-date" of entrepreneurs has fallen in recent years, driven partly by the de-skilling of the workforce and the rise of celebrity Gen Y business people like Mark Zuckerberg. But can an entrepreneur really be too old?

Today we also profile social bookmarking site Trunk.ly and take a glimpse at how Australia might look in 2020.
