Today on StartupSmart, we speak to Matt Rockman, who has seamlessly made the transition from co-founder of online recruitment giant Seek to start-up investor.

After reportedly making a tidy $40 million from his Seek exit in 2006, Rockman has become a significant player in Australia’s start-up community.

Today, he reveals his start-up lessons from Seek, as well as outlines the attributes he looks for in up-and-coming entrepreneurs.

Elsewhere, sales expert Marcia Griffin ponders the merits of cold calling and tech entrepreneur Michael Fox examines whether your team really needs to be located in the one office.
