Research in Australia and overseas has consistently shown that 70% of all major change efforts in organisations fail.
Why do they fail?
Because organisations often fail to take the holistic approach required to see the change through.
However, by following the 8 Step Process outlined by Harvard Professor John P. Kotter, organisations can avoid failure and become adept at change, and increase their chances of success.
Recently Professor Kotter wrote a New York Times best selling book Our Iceberg is Melting, which has become an international phenomenon based on his 8 steps of change theory. 5,200 people in Australia and NZ have already been trained in this process to help their organisations succeed in all conditions.
GUEST SPEAKER
Greg Kaiser is a leading speaker and trainer in change, leadership and innovation having worked with many of the world's thought leaders and organisations. Greg's talk will explain how to:
- Build organisational capacity to successfully embrace change in an increasingly uncertain world.
- Give people, at all levels, the critical leadership skills needed to help their organisations win – by identifying and doing what needs to be done.
- Accelerate specific change objectives in any major organisational initiative such as innovation, strategy implementation, service improvement, process re-engineering and culture development.
- Bring to life the world-renowned principles by the use of story telling, translating into processes that are fun, research based and applicable straight away.
