FundingGet some advice on government grantsBy The Taskmaster
There are an incredible number of grants out there to help businesses, from the high-profiled Federal Government grants that focus on export marketing and research and development, through to specialist state government grants aimed at specific sectors, and even local government grants for local SMEs.
But finding the appropriate grant for your business, and then accessing that grant, does take some time.
And given that’s one thing many entrepreneurs lack, they often give up.
But this is silly. The best approach is to get some help trawling through the grant world. Start by consulting government bodies, and then approach your accountant or lawyer, who may have had experience with getting grants for other clients. You can also approach specialist grant advisers, who focus entirely on finding and obtaining grants for clients.
The point is, the investment of some time and effort is well worth it.
