Import contacts into Skype
By Patrick Stafford
Monday, 04 July 2011
Skype is a great way to communicate with your colleagues and prospective customers and clients. But you may find that you don’t have contacts in your Skype program to get started.
You can import contacts from email addresses to make sure you have a sizeable contact list.
To do this, open up the Skype main window and then click on “contacts”, and then “import contacts”. You’re then able to choose which email address you want to use to import those contacts.
After you choose an email address and input your details, you can then choose individually which contacts you want to import.
When you’re done, you can then invite those people to use Skype.
You’re also better off renaming those users in Skype once they join, as you don’t want to be sorting people by their user name instead of their real name.
