ITTech Tricks: Turn Off Desktop Email NotificationsTurn off desktop email notificationsBy Patrick Stafford
First, you need to actually open Outlook. Then, go over to the file menu and then select “options”, just above the “exit” button.
Then, you’ll see a new window appear. You’ll want to click on “mail”, and then scroll down to the “message arrival” option. You’ll be given a few different options for what happens when new messages arrive – untick the “display a desktop alert” option. And you’re done. Come back here if you want to turn them on again and just simply check the box.
