If you want to translate a piece of text or a website, one of the best websites on the internet is Google Translate.

However, if you want to quickly translate a word or phrase into, or from, English, there’s a much quicker way.

In the Google search bar in your web browser, just type: in .

For example, you might type in "guten tag in english". Above the first result, Google will give you the answer: “Good day: ‘guten tag’ from German“.

Likewise, if you search for “laba diena in English”, Google will respond with “Good Day: ‘laba diena’ from Latvian”.
