Meanwhile, service providers can use the site as an advertising platform.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to Dong, Pick A Quote has already attracted more than 10,000 customers, and was the first business in Australia to develop an iPhone app that allows users to post their jobs online.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe provide services for over 34 categories across every state and major city in Australia. We have over $20 million in value of jobs posted throughout our site,\u201d Dong says.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Pick A Quote is currently looking to partner up with online business directories and classified advertisement platforms such as Gumtree, Hipages and Hotfrog.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Dong attributes his success to good communication skills, mentoring and dressing well.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom graduating with a law degree, I am able to confidently articulate myself in a way that is well understood and show that I am a subject matter expert in my field of work,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy mentors have provided me with a lot of advice and business experience that assists me in understanding what I am doing and committing to,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow you dress, and they way you dress, is important when people are assessing your age.
