Perhaps you have two drives that are using the same name, and then one doesn\u2019t show up.   <span id=\"more-4934\"><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s easy enough to change. But beware \u2013 changing the name of a hard drive can do irreversible damage if you don\u2019t know what you\u2019re doing. If you want to change a name, be sure you know what you\u2019re doing or find someone who does.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>To open the disk management box, just type \u201cdisk management\u201d into the run box in the Start Menu, and select the first option that will allow you to edit disk partitions.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>There, select the drive you want, then right-click, and select change drive letter and paths.
