{"id":39229,"date":"2023-10-20T15:01:30","date_gmt":"2023-10-20T15:01:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/startupsmart.test\/2023\/10\/20\/first-accelerating-commercialisation-grants-awarded-startupsmart\/"},"modified":"2023-10-20T15:01:30","modified_gmt":"2023-10-20T15:01:30","slug":"first-accelerating-commercialisation-grants-awarded-startupsmart","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.startupsmart.com.au\/uncategorized\/first-accelerating-commercialisation-grants-awarded-startupsmart\/","title":{"rendered":"First Accelerating Commercialisation grants awarded &#8211; StartupSmart"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"td-post-featured-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"445\" height=\"352\" itemprop=\"image\" class=\"entry-thumb\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/l_cash-445.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"l_cash-445\"\/><\/div>\n<p>Almost 12 months after&nbsp;the last funding was announced under the <a href=\"government-and-regulation\/its-official-ca-and-iif-to-go.html\">now discontinued<\/a> Commercialisation Australia program, the first grants under the new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.business.gov.au\/advice-and-support\/EIP\/Accelerating-Commercialisation\/Pages\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Accelerating Commercialisation program<\/a> have been awarded to two ACT companies.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The first company&nbsp;to receive funding is&nbsp;MyHealthTest Pty Ltd&nbsp;who has received the maximum grant of $1 Million.&nbsp;Grant funding will be used to commercialise an innovative direct to consumer pathology test analysis and reporting service using home based dry blood spot sample collection.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>MyHealthTest is an Australian company offering a new generation in pathology testing. The MyHealthTest website allows consumers to conveniently order tests and take samples in the privacy of their own home. Samples are then processed by a quality controlled laboratory ensuring the accuracy and reliability of results. A secure online portal guarantees the confidentiality of the results delivered to the consumer; results that can be shared with healthcare practitioners, family or others as desired.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The second company&nbsp;to receive funding is&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/interferex.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Interfere X Communications&nbsp;Pty Ltd<\/a>. The grant funding of $325,000&nbsp;will be used for radio optimisation trials to commercialise RANifex, an innovative software product for managing radio infrastructure within the wireless mobile broadband market. In March 2015, Interfere X announced that they had received $870,000 from industry investors in addition to an undisclosed amount from ANU Connect Ventures in April 2014.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>InterfereX develops cutting edge solutions to power the next generation of wireless networks.
