{"id":43483,"date":"2023-10-20T15:28:54","date_gmt":"2023-10-20T15:28:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/startupsmart.test\/2023\/10\/20\/new-initiative-to-lend-a-helping-hand-to-adelaide-tech-startups-startupsmart\/"},"modified":"2023-10-20T15:28:54","modified_gmt":"2023-10-20T15:28:54","slug":"new-initiative-to-lend-a-helping-hand-to-adelaide-tech-startups-startupsmart","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.startupsmart.com.au\/uncategorized\/new-initiative-to-lend-a-helping-hand-to-adelaide-tech-startups-startupsmart\/","title":{"rendered":"New initiative to lend a helping hand to Adelaide tech startups &#8211; StartupSmart"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"td-post-featured-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"443\" height=\"352\" itemprop=\"image\" class=\"entry-thumb\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/l_generic_startup445.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"l_generic_startup445\"><\/div>\n<p>Launching a tech business in Adelaide is set to become easier thanks to a new private initiative aimed at helping startups that lack the technical resources to get off the ground.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Furio provides design and development expertise to startups that may not have a chief technology officer or the money to pay a developer.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Co-founder and technical director Chhai Thach told <i>StartupSmart<\/i> the aim of the initiative is to see more successful startups come out of Adelaide.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn Adelaide there are plenty of people who are in tech but they\u2019re not able to find the right co-founder,\u201d he says. \u201cWe\u2019ve got a close-knit community here, almost everyone knows each other. We want to bring in new people with different experiences.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Furio operates from Adelaide\u2019s co-working space Majoran and is looking to connect individuals so that local startups can adapt and scale up.
