{"id":45512,"date":"2023-10-20T15:44:16","date_gmt":"2023-10-20T15:44:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/startupsmart.test\/2023\/10\/20\/bringing-bucket-list-dreams-to-life-as-passion-data-startupsmart\/"},"modified":"2023-10-20T15:44:16","modified_gmt":"2023-10-20T15:44:16","slug":"bringing-bucket-list-dreams-to-life-as-passion-data-startupsmart","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.startupsmart.com.au\/uncategorized\/bringing-bucket-list-dreams-to-life-as-passion-data-startupsmart\/","title":{"rendered":"Bringing bucket list dreams to life as \u201cpassion data\u201d &#8211; StartupSmart"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"td-post-featured-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"445\" height=\"352\" itemprop=\"image\" class=\"entry-thumb\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/l_buckitdream-445.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"l_buckitdream-445\"><\/div>\n<p>As companies pore over the \u201cbig data\u201d of human behaviour to better determine what customers want and how they can deliver it, a company is setting out to discover and deliver \u201cpassion data\u201d to better connect brands with consumers.<\/p>\n<p>Tim Carroll, the former long-time chief marketing officer of cinema and amusement park company Village Roadshow, has established ElectricXP, a company setting out to brand the concept of the bucket list \u2013 the list of goals and experiences people want to achieve in their lives.<\/p>\n<p>The concept was also popularised by the 2007 US movie <i>The Bucket List<\/i> that starred Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman, whose characters travel the world ticking off items on their bucket lists.<\/p>\n<p>ElectricXP has created buckitdream, a platform that gives users the opportunity to create their own bucket lists which they can share with their social networks and connect with merchants to help achieve the dreams on their lists.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe as consumers really do want to talk about our dreams and purpose in life,\u201d Carroll told <i>StartupSmart<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>He describes this as \u201cpassion data\u201d, information that can help brands become more attuned to customers\u2019 desires and motivations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019re all thinking about how they get closer to the consumer and leverage passion data,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n<p>Brands also want to know how to monetise their audiences, build loyalty in a customer base and leverage their attributes as a business.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs a marketer you want an emotion-based relationship with an individual.
