{"id":45879,"date":"2023-10-20T15:46:59","date_gmt":"2023-10-20T15:46:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/startupsmart.test\/2023\/10\/20\/federal-court-orders-perth-entrepreneur-vlado-bosanac-to-pay-the-ato-9-34-million-in-outstanding-tax-liabilities-startupsmart\/"},"modified":"2023-10-20T15:46:59","modified_gmt":"2023-10-20T15:46:59","slug":"federal-court-orders-perth-entrepreneur-vlado-bosanac-to-pay-the-ato-9-34-million-in-outstanding-tax-liabilities-startupsmart","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.startupsmart.com.au\/uncategorized\/federal-court-orders-perth-entrepreneur-vlado-bosanac-to-pay-the-ato-9-34-million-in-outstanding-tax-liabilities-startupsmart\/","title":{"rendered":"Federal Court orders Perth entrepreneur Vlado Bosanac to pay the ATO $9.34 million in outstanding tax liabilities &#8211; StartupSmart"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"td-post-featured-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"332\" itemprop=\"image\" class=\"entry-thumb\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/taxincentives-640x332.jpg\" alt=\"Coins on a table\" title=\"taxincentives\"><\/div>\n<p>The Federal Court has ordered a Perth entrepreneur to pay the Australian Taxation Office millions of dollars&nbsp;in outstanding tax liabilities.<\/p>\n<p>Vlado Bosanac, the executive director of Greenday Corporate and co-founder of the My Fiziq app, has been ordered to pay the ATO $9.34 million.<\/p>\n<p>Bosanac is a serial entrepreneur, advisor and business consultant.&nbsp;His specialties lie in capital raising and corporate restructuring, according to his LinkedIn page.<\/p>\n<p>According to court documents, in October 2015, the ATO issued Bosanac with amended assessments of income for the income years ending June 30, 2006, and June 30 2013 inclusive, alleging he was liable to pay \u201csubstantial amounts of tax\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>At the time the ATO said Bosanac should also pay interest on the alleged tax liabilities, as well as a penalty.
